Gunung Kawi Temple is located in Gianyar Regency, specifically in Tampaksiring, Ubud. It is famous for the grandeur towering rock cliff carved with ancient shrine, right at the face of its towering wall. The temple area offers beautiful view to the sacred Pakerisan River. The famous archeological site also considered a sacred place for Balinese, the place where they make offering and pray. Meanwhile, a small cave somewhere within the area is used for meditation. To get into the complex, you will trek through hundred steps with a stunning view of nature.

Ubud’s representative of waterfall site, Tegenungan Waterfall, is located in Sukawati district. It takes around 10-minutes walk down to the main star from the entrance, where the verdant valley surrounding the beautiful cascade breathes. Just like any other waterfall, people aims to swim to the freshening water pond just below the falls. Or one can simply stand face to face with the mother nature’s gift and still get the best experience from there.

One of the famous agro-tourism in Bali is a coffee plantation, the one that is nearest from our resort is Alas Harum in Tegallalang. Visitors will be able to look behind the door of luwak coffee production, also other needed information about the unique coffee that is produced from palm civet. Coffee tasting is also available and might be very interesting for coffee lovers. Aside of coffee adventure, you can also enjoy the well-known Bali swing inside the area and the beauty of its area.

Pura Tirta Empul is considered one of the most sacred temples in Bali as Balinese people believe that it holds magical power within. The spring bubbles up into large, crystal-clear tank within the temple, formed by God of Indra to heal his dying armies that fell from Mayadenawa, the evil king. It is a place that is famous for its holy water ritual where everyone can dive into a large pool and lined up to the pouring of holy water. For that, the temple itself holds a very sacred ambience. To get there, it takes only 30 minutes drive from The Udaya with normal traffic.

The monkey sanctuary is located in Ubud, takes only around 10 minutes from our resort. Habited with 900 long-tailed Balinese monkey known as macaques, visitors will be able to interact with the monkeys while watching how they live between trees and canopies. Staffs and local guides will be guarded to keep the visitors' safety. Considering that you will be entering a jungle full of monkeys, you should avoid wearing oversized jewelry and shirts since they can steal it easily.

Wondrous overlay of terraced rice paddies showcasing the famous subak, a traditional Balinese irrigation system. The ever ending span of beautiful, well organized green lush brought the field as one of the Cultural Landscape of Bali Province UNESCO World Heritage Site. Trekking activity should be considered a must when visiting Tegallalang RIce Terrace, not to mention the famous giant Bali swing that everyone seek for their Bali's adventure. Reaching there should not be a problem from The Udaya as it only takes about 15-20 minutes drive with regular traffic condition.

Goa Gajah or Elephant Cave is located near Teges, Gianyar regency. The temple is not very large in terms of complex width, yet still holds numerous beauty of interesting ancient-old carvings. The original beauty of the site successfully assigned it into a tentative list of UNESCO World Heritage in 1995. Talking about the main point of this temple should be the cave entrance carving that portrays giant mouth and history that lays behind.
